How Values will Save America’s Leadership

Chris Valletta is a former NFL athlete turned entrepreneur and passionate advocate for values-based leadership. Born in New England, and moving to Texas at 16, he developed a deep appreciation for resilience, creativity, competitiveness, service, and faith, shaped by his family, coaches, and teammates. These early lessons have guided his journey across sports, business, and thought leadership.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Chris has dedicated his life to championing leadership principles that inspire teamwork, foster growth, and create meaningful impact. As a business leader and author of three leadership-focused books, he draws on his experiences as both a competitor and entrepreneur to challenge conventional thinking and empower individuals to lead with purpose.

As the founder of AmplifyU at Texas A&M, the nation’s first accredited program designed to bridge leadership development for student-athletes and business education, Chris continues to inspire others to lead boldly, serve selflessly, and create a lasting legacy.

Chris is a proud husband, father of two boys, and is an avid collector of historical artifacts, having collected a broad range of items spanning 6 centuries, including what is now over 200 Bibles carried on the front lines by soldiers during every American conflict from the Revolutionary War to present day.
