Who are we?

TED is an organization passionate about ideas worth spreading. Following this passion, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx enables individuals or organizations to put on independent TED-like conferences in their own local community. We are TEDxTAMU, where x = independently organized TED event. Following the general guide of the official TED conference, we seek to spread insightful, perspective-gaining, and deeper ideas to the community of Texas A&M University. We do this by self-organizing our very own conference: TEDxTAMU.
